I went along Saturday night and had an absolute ball. Far and away the best rock concert I have been too, and there have been plenty.
What was impressive, for all thier bad press, was the efforts of City Rail to move everyone in and out of the event with a minimum of fuss. I normally drive out to Homebush but on Saturday night I did the runaway train (pun intended) and it was no highway to hell (ok another pun) just a smooth ride, ok a little packed from Homebush to Central but you get that, and very efficient. Alot better than the car park at P1 and getting back out on Parramatta Road would have been.
Only one yobbo climbing a marquee and getting pelted with water bottles otherwise the crowd was extremely well behaved. Ohhh and there were some people around us smoking some strange smelling herb......
