Nah, but its a useful habit. I used to do a bit of competitive sailing and it wasn't until it was pointed out at a training session for new kids that the first thing I probably did every morning was look at the weather and assess the wind direction and strength and then be constantly aware of it all throughout the day that I realised how much of a habit it had become (when you're sailing you need to be alert for the smallest changes in case you can work it to your advantage on the course). I still do it automatically and I haven't been sailing for 10 years now. I also do something similar with stars and constellations, particularly when driving around at night, which probably isn't the best thing to do when behind the wheel, but I can't help myself!
