Sorry everyone, it's another M42
Please don't expect too much, but it's a starting point anyway. I polar aligned but am yet to try my hand at drift alignment (my next task). I decided to shoot through my new Ha filter with my DSI Pro II on my 10" LX200GPS at f/3.3 (guided). I shot subs as follows:
4sec x 32
10sec x 30
30sec x 32
1 1/2min x 19
2 1/2min x 14
I wanted to grab some 5 minute subs but the clouds started coming in and M42 was starting to get a little low, so I processed what I had for the time being. It's all good practice
I tried my hand at CCDStack, and then processed my final merged subs in photoshop. I can see already that I'm on a very steep learning curve - wish me luck!
