Commiserations.
I spent about two hours doing scut-work last night.

When I came out - the sky was absolutely black and every object visible in the southern hemisphere was shining bright-as. In fact I don't think I've seen a
better sky.
By the time I'd dragged the scope out - cloud!

I try to console myself by thinking it was only that way for the ten minutes I looked........but I
know!
