Thanks very much Steve, by this coming weekend I hope to have sufficient descent data for an animation of a complete rotation.

Thanks David and thanks for checking out my website, it's not very professional but I reckon, with a bit of experience I will be able to make it better.

Thanks so much Dennis for your very kind words, I really do appreciate it. I also follow very closely the work that you have been doing, from your amazing images of the outer planets and their moons to the incredible images you have been producing of Sol.
From time to time I sort of feel a bit out of it, living out here in the bush, which makes sharing my passion of astronomy with others, that are just as obsessed such as you via this forum, all the more satisfying.

Thanks Rob, yep the weather has been abnormally crook of late, but when I am able to get good data in the twilight at an altitude of only 17 degrees and the seeing hangs in for 5 1/2 hrs, I sort of stop and reflect on it and there really isn't anywhere else I would rather be.

Thanks Stephen, I really am very pleased with the quality of the the IR images in the animation, especially very early on at such a low altitude and still with the sky so bright.

Thanks very much Kev, this was the best night I have had for some time and the jet stream is looking like it might co-operate through to the weekend.
