What software are you using to control the ST7? and what guide cables are you using? Do you have a guider relay box or just going straight from the camera into the mount? With my ST9E I used a relay box... It seemed clunky, but it worked..
5Amp power supplies - and I've tried several with the same result.

I've tried MAxim 4 and CCDOps without joy. The imaging chip responds OK. I'm running the I2C cable straight into the EQ6 autoguide port and the parallel cable straight to the PC. No relay box in between. It's probably something simple I've missed.
