Tonight I was invited to attend the Indigineous Sports Awards & was also the launch of the Indigineous Sports Hall of Fame.
Was held at the Skilled Stadium, Robina, Gold Coast.
What a fab night. Very interesting hearing about all of the past & current aboriginal spotsmen & Women. So many that I'd never heard of.
I was sitting next to Mario Feneck. Nova Peris Kneebone was at the next table. Eddie Barney, the son of Eddie Gilbert (Aboriginal cricketer who bowled The Don for a duck) was also at the next table. He in his own right was a top boxer.
