A most enjoyable read Terry, thanks so much for sharing your story and your photo's. I can relate to the effects of the lack of oxygen at altitude having been to the the Keck's at 14,000ft on the summit of Mauna Kea, however I was able to drive to the summit while you had to trek. I am sure you will savor this experience, what an adventure.
