I use a makita 255mm drop saw saw with tungsten blade
Al tube about 12mm dia 1.5mm ish thick
Usually a wood saw but cut the tube OK
Clamped the tube and went slowly and wore full PPE
No problems cuts are accurate and square
Try on an off cut first
