Hi Louie One parsec(pc) is equal to 3.2616 light years or 206.265 astronomical units. Kiloparsec(Kpc)=1000 parsec and Megaparsec(Mpc)=1000.000 parsecs, so the distance to Alpha Cent is aprox 1..32 pc, so to get an idea of the distance just add the pc by 3.2 and then multply by 1000 for Kiloparsec and 1000.000 forMegaparsec,
