I'm still out on that one. I too, went out with my UHC filter in tow. At first Yup! I
thought I did split it. One appeared red the other appeared green/blue. So I
thought to myself lets test this out on a known single star. My choice was Altair
in Aquila and much to my disapointment I got the same one red and one green/blue.
Unfortunately Alpha Centuri was a lil low to see the effect on that. but I wouldn't
be too surprised if I see two red and two green/blue stars.

So jjjnettie did you try this on a couple of others, doubles and singles?

But then when I really think about it the filter has always had this effect
on bright stars, seems to seperate the colours.
