I quess that this is a perfect example to use for Mike to look at some sort of comment free rating system to be implemented in IIS. After a few negative feedbacks then people fouls be able to lok more closely at proposed purchases.
Did you think of trialling the mount before purchase? That may have been the best option in the long run.
