Hi all,

Here is our first attempt at a widefield Crux,
This was taken during a camping trip to Lake Burrendong (3 - 6 Jan 09) , it proved to be a challenge as Crux was low to the horizon and an almost full moon was rising at approximately 11pm, combined with other campers driving around with high beams on....................

Canon 1000d
Heq5
8 x 3 min exposures @ ISO 800
Stacked in DSS and processed in CS 3

Any advice for improvement would be appreciated
