I tried a 10 sec set tonight because the seeing was very good.
Camera was cooled to 14°C because dew point was expected to be about
10-11°C
First (almost) failure of the worm gear tonight.
I heard something go 'CLUNK'! Nylock nut had tightened
and the toothed belt slipped a tooth.
Lucky I was in the dome and heard it. Normally I'm inside Remote D.
That cut this set short at only 49frames.
I hope Paul H. got out last night. It was one of those rare nights.
