The only thing i have done is select the stars and then reverse the selection so i work only on the back ground and nebula and not bloat the stars.
It might have been the false flat i used to get a flat field.
Will do some real flat fields today and see if that will get rid of the effect.
The good thing is that i didnt need any noise filtering with this camera at this temperature.
