Relationship with the mother in law is paramount IMHO. If you play your cards right when your wife fights with her mum, all of a sudden you're the good guy/confident from both sides. You can get anything you want.
It's tricky, but this equilibrium is pure heaven (while it lasts). It's like riding a wave. Then you've got to dodge the dog house again (x10)
coz let's face it, that's like gravity, nothing's more certain.
