You know what pleases me about your critique? The fact that I knew that before I posted it, means i'm learning.
Detail was lost, in noise reduction, I wanted the floaters removed from the water there are heaps as you can see.
The original image is good on the fall, yet somewhere in gimp I lost the detail. I need to go back and do another layer and bring the fall back in unblown.
This image is over PP maybe too much for a good critique, I should have spent longer on it, making it better. It at one stage seemed to be heading off into fantasy land, there is even a Gimp supernova in there somewhere.
Here's the original, as you can see I was just having fun with a new skill, obviously in the future I would never use such extreme PP as this.
How was your New Years mate? Good I hope
Edit~ Wadda ya mean David details??? You got tree reflections in the water to the left, turquoise waters to the right, water falls straight ahead... Check the water detail halfway up frame to the right side. Perfect reflections.... Million dollar views!!!
That's a desktop background if ever I saw one, maybe one of those oriental flickering electronic wall hangings, where the water seems to flow and it plays bird sounds.
The last one is without the heavy noise reduction.
