Yep when you see an image of a prom and disc chances are there are 2 seperate images joined together. Lower exp for the disc and higher for the prom itself.
Best way of getting disc exp right is to look at the histogram while youre capturing. adjust gain or exp so that the main peak is about 2/3 toward the right.
