Takahashi TOA150 & Field Flattener

Looking for expressions of interest at this stage.

I'm looking at getting out of astronomy due to bad local skies, worsening light pollution, and flagging interest.

TOA150 refractor, in excellent condition, with only a couple of small tube marks from going portable. With Parallax rings, and Losmandy mounting plate. Also includes Takahashi giant field flattener for stunning edge to edge performance on large imaging sensors.

To see what this OTA is capable of, see:

...and pan around for a look.

This is a very large, heavy refractor. Do not underestimate the mount required. You will NOT get away a G8, G11, Skywatcher etc. I would suggest an AP1200 or ParamountME as a minimum. Please bear this in mind!

Expressions of interest please by email to robert_greaves@bigpond.com

Regards,
Rob
