Yeah, thats pretty close.
1250 / 32 = 39.0625 x 8 x 2 = 625X
Mars doesn't stay within the field of view very long at all. Maybe 5 seconds or a bit more?
I havn't really read much about asimov's mount. Perhaps I'll go have another read of the thread
