Just got back from seeing this in Woden, Baz. I went with a bunch of work mates and associated friends. Hoyts' have done up theater 4 with new seats and big screen and awesome sound. Saw it in 3D.

There's too many emotions slurring around in my body at the moment to write a coherent post. I'm not very good with words as it is.

I just felt so really, really calm throughout the entire movie. Others have said it best: immersion is the word that best describes this piece of magic.

I believe it was Luce Irigaray who said that wonder is what happens when some part of the brain has never been etched upon before, sees the light. Judging by tonight's experience, my brain has been dormant for quite some time, I feel.

Being a landscape photographer, all I could ever wish for is the scenery that is portrayed in this movie to actually exist. My God.

I sat there wishing I had my camera, lenses, grads and tripod the entire movie.

Parting words: take you, your partner, your children, and go and see it in 3D. It's an experience that will leave you longing for more.

Regards,
Humayun
