We have had a great W/E of clear & stable skies here in Gove
Sat night was awesome, with the view of Andromeda through a pair of 16 x 60 Binos, spilling over the field of view & M110 looking like a big bright galaxy in its own right.
Mars was the best I have seen yet with Sirtis Major & the Helias basin clearly visable, as well as the north polar hood and the blue limb cloud haze.
Topped off by the usual greats such as 47 Tuc, Tarantula nebula, Albiro, NGC 253 & 300, the Saggitarius nebulas & more
All this capping of a great lecture on Astrophysics by Prof. Norris, to a packed room.
This Is all Good
