Spanish Dancer

Had a go at NGC1566 last night and managed to get 13x4min shots with the DSI before the clouds rolled in. I was amazed that there is a lot of faint material besides the prominent arms that will need a far deeper shot than I have here to reveal properly. The main exercise of last night was to see if 1) the EQ6 could handle properly the weight of my 10"SCT and guidescope and 2) if I could guide at 2500mm for at least 4min. As a matter of a fact I didnt loose a subframe from bad guiding so I was pleased.
I dont think the faint nebulosity will come through well in the jpeg and a small size but anyway its a start. Just love Guidemaster and Alignmaster as a combination for guiding and quick polar aligning.
Comments welcome

PS For those that may be interested, I have attached a 5 min unprocessed shot taken at 4x4 binning with a QHY8 to give some idea of the different image scales etc.
