Thanks to everyone for your kind well wishes for my birthday yesterday!
40 seems pretty significant....but I suspect 50 will be a lot more so.....
Had a lovely lunch yesterday with the family at Le Kiosk on Shelly Beach near Manly. Absolutely beautiful weather, the food was amazing, and great company.
I didn't get to observe (the Mary Rose is still with SDM for the makeover), but I did lie on the trampolin outside after the kids were in bed for about 15 minutes last night just to take in some cosmic light. I am looking forward to collecting a lot more photons tonight in the company of my astro friends at the Pony Club. For those coming, see you there!
