I just recently made a brass fitting for the back of my finder in the machine shop slapped a thread onto it and it screws directly into the back as a replacement to the eye piece. happy days
ive seen others using this same set up so i have no fear that it will work! (roger if you want something like this have a chat with me).
and thats with the Skywatcher 9x 50 finder scope too
