Yeuch!!
Chivas Regal is about the only blended whisky i will drink, Irish whiskey is nice, but its very "bland" i find, although certainly smooth, and as for Ballantines, i wouldnt use that for cleaning my toilet!
i have several whisky's that i am sipping at present (not at the same time!)
Glenmorangie 12YO in Madiera Wood finish, very nice and smooth, the madiera wood gives it an almost sweet quality
Glenfiddich 18YO, while Glenfiddich is the cheapest of the good malts, the 18YO is much smoother on the palate.
Laphroig , lovely whisky, strongest tasting of all the Islay malts, very nice after cheese and crackers.
Balvenie , Lovely almost sweet whisky, yum!
