Yes, - definitely.
When we were young in England, our Mum always put the tree up together with lights sometime early December. So we continue the tradition here and our kids love it. They want them up earlier each year
, but early Dec is early enough for me.
Plus we also decorate the inside living room/living area ceilings with streamers made from crepe paper and twisted to show two colours, and those decs that are made from coloured foil and cut to Christmassy shapes. It usually looks awesome and we all love it. It all comes down on 6th Jan as someone said earlier.
It makes Christmas more ..... Christmassy. Try it if you don't already do it
