Ngc 660

hi everyone,

here is our first galaxy-image from Tao remote-observatory.
http://www.stargazer-observatory.com/TAO_01.html

ngc 660 is a pretty interesting and beautiful galaxy, so we decided to collect deep data: roughly 50 hours total exp. L and RGB equal. amazingly enough we have found far more than 100 background galaxies (-:

again - it is my 9" TMB folded apo, that invariably proofs to be a powerful partner in deep sky imaging, I'd say (-:
Also, Immo has invested some good money to install another mighty partner in our remote obs, as the
10 micron 2000 was turned in in favour for the 4000. this super-heavy duty mount performs constantly reliable - tracking accuracy is about 0.3 arc seconds,...depending on seeing of course.

please find time to check the data on the image:

also - please find time to check out the different versions of the images indicated on the
660-subpage:

thanks for looking guys!

dietmar & immo.
