Nice image Allan but as Marc has pointed out the core has suffered a bit during processing. Maybe during the curve stretch you have dropped the bright end of the curve too much while trying to preserve the core and actually damaged it. Far better to copy and blend the core during processing then you may get a bit more out of the main area of the nebula while retaining the core.
