Very nice Robin, 20 minute subs are probably a bit much for the QHY8 ,particularly if seeing or guidig are a little off. Stars will bloat quite easily, I know I have been guilty of the same. Often better to drop the exposures down to 10 minutes, keep things under control and doesn't over saturate the stars on the CCD.

Talking Ha. I remember a Ha image of Rosey that Peter Ward did and then used as a luminance channel on a LRGB image. It would be a good one as a reference image. It was magnificent.

Glad you have sold the 8. What is next ccd on the burner? I'm sticking with the QHY8 for a while myself.
