My reprocess of John K's Mars

Hi guys.

John K kindly send me a data DVD with with his avi's from the captures he did on the 27th September.

His original post is here.

I spend last night processing his avi's, and below attached are my results.

It appears John resampled his images up to give a larger image scale, but imo it's pushed it too far and reduced the visible detail and made the image softer.

In my processed versions, I didn't resample the image at all, so it's the same size as the original avi.

My processing involved:
- Usual align/stack in registax
- Wavelet adjust in registax (not too hard)
- Split and LR deconvolution in AstraImage (3/1.3 for each channel)
- Unsharp mask in AstraImage
- That produced the top image
- I then used NeatImage with some values suggested by Mike Sirios over on AstroMart forums in response to one of Anthony Wesley's fine images.
- It then produced the bottom image

There's some very nice detail present, well done John! Wish it was my avi that I was processing

Anyway here it is, thanks for letting me have a crack at it, John.
