Australia were awful in virtually every aspect of the game save the scrums. Here alone we have progressed markedly in the last 2 yrs. Sekope Kepu has shown he will be a star in the future -- a very powerful man in the engine-room. He made two glaring knock-ons but ... When he came on mid-way through the first half, he made a good scrum brilliant.

It still appears to be a pipe dream that we could have a hooker who can throw the ball into the line out accurately when it counts. Stephen Moore is a very good man in general play and in the scrum but can someone please teach him how to throw the ball into the line-out straight sometime before I die? Will Genia was also very good and I think we really missed Pocock out injured.

The Wallabies only have themselves to blame for this loss, too much dropped ball and attacking opportunities squandered. We had 3/4 of the ball and 3/4 of the territory but still managed to loose. The Scottish defence was very good (all credit to them) but I don't think it was so good that it forced all those errors, we were simply abyssmal in a game that never reached any great heights. If we had of played to that standard against the blacks or the boks, it would have been a cricket score.

Best,

Les D
