Hi all, I've been reading this thread with interest and I spoke to George (whom some of you will know) and he told me that Lostock Scout Camp is a good choice. He has been there before. Quite a few years ago his astronomical society held viewing nights for the scouts, but he said that all you have to look out for is not to step in cow dung!
The swimming hole sounds good on a hot afternoon.
George and I are interested in going for a few days and if the Scout Camp is chosen I am sure there will be a few more people that I know that would like to come along.
Is there 240 power there that anyone can use to charge a battery?
