Checking on Heavens Above, the times don't fit for my location so they were either satellites catching the morning sun, or Leonids.

I've just rechecked with Heavens Above, changing my location from Lostock to Kyneton!, and sure enough they were Iridium flares, Iridium 21 & 72.
