Funny you should ask that Trevor. I finally managed to get out last night and took this image of ngc253 last night with my Orion 80ED and canon 300D. Seeing about 4/10 transparency about the same (lotta smoke haze around at the moment) Nothing fancy with the processing, just registax, darked and levels and curves and cropped
Can't comment on the mount sorry.
