Good stuff Dave - downsizing often brings its own form of pleasure...especially in the form of 15x70 binos.
The AOE model I bought back in 2005 up in Brisvegas got me back into the hobby big style! I used to recline on a lounger with the binos propped on the armrests to minimize fatigue, sweeping the milky way. I would often experience 3D type views which were infinitely more pleasing than one eyed views through a scope.
