Thought it was about time I posted a new image. This is an edge on spiral or an irrregular galaxy, depending on who you listen to.
I like to think of it as two edge on spirals interacting.

30 September 2005, Canon 300D, Meade LXD55 SN10. 124x30sec exposures at ISO1600, prime focus, unguided.
Processing: ImagesPlus: Dark, Flat and Bias calibration, align, adaptive add, DDP. ABE: gradient removal. Photoshop CS: levels, curves. Noiseware: Noise reduction applied per channel.
