thanks. Don't resist too long, LOL. Honestly though, the L series Canon lenses are nice, very, but the Leica's are as well. Could you find a 200L for this sort of money? And for astro, the manual focus to my mind is a bonus, focus seems better, as the auto-focus lenses I have used in the past have really only paid lip-service to manual focusing.
On the QHY8 it worked a treat, IIRC, this shot was with the QHY8.
