Then in 1981 I think it was, I went through the Brighton hailstorm. Hailstones so big that no one would believe you, unless they went through it too. Joh Bjelke toured the area and pronounced it a natural disaster. So much hail they needed bull dozer's to shift it off the roads.
My neighbours chooks all died, stripped of all their feathers by the hail, our horses had whopping great bruises on their backs.
So, no, I don't like storms much.
I got struck when I was a kid. Ended up in hospital and made the news.It was awful.
