yeah, its funny, lately we all struggle with and bang on about RCs, mounts, KAF8300 well depths etc (incl me), and this character chirns out amazing stuff with a stock vanilla SCT on a meade mount and a QHY9. Have a close look at his images, they are outstanding.
He does some very tricky processing too, check his
"Tone Mapping" method, removing stars, extreme stretching/combining, and star reinsertion with fairly ordinary subs. Goes to show processing skills are more than half the final result.
