WO Flattener IV test - NGC2070 quickie

Decided to test out my WO Flattener IV on the ED80 last night. Full moon and light pollution, also thought I'd give some Ha imaging a crack with the DSLR.

This is just a quick test shot, 4x8min subs. Quite happy with the flattened field, but will test some more obviously.

Processing question - how the heck do you guys manage to display and save just the red channel in grayscale? I can't figure it out for the life of me. When I opened the image in PS, I went into the channel mixer and set everything in the G and B channels to zero so only red in the R channel was 100%. The all the stretching and editing was done in R channel only, had G and B turned off even. On screen in PS i see the grayscale image I want to display, but when I save for web it turns all the channels on and the image goes red like below. What do you do? Is it as simple as just converting the image to grayscale after editing?
