Thanks Robin. I thought as much but just wanted to check.
When you say 'adjust the gain' do you mean vary the AD converter? With such a shallow well depth (27000), would there be much to gain by increasing the gain/ADU from 0.45 to say 1? There would be less noise but wouldn't there be a corresponding drop in dynamic range? But I suppose if the anti bloom strength was decreased that would increase the available well depth.
Its something to think about I guess, but I'd probably use my ST7 if I wanted to increase the ADU and increase dynamic range
but having the bigger chip on the H9 would be a bonus
