I have also built one of these galileoscopes and I must say, they are relatively easy to build.
I had my 2 1/2 year old help me out. With the exception of the EP/Barlow. He basically built it himself with my direction. Just had to bring in the wipes to clean the main lens
And, watching a 2 year old absolutely happy with it and the expressions of awe just from viewing the moon, I was gobsmacked.
I would suggest only purchasing a minimal amount (12ish) for the learning curve of how viewing devices work in the field of astronomy. With the amount of children at the bear cottage, It would also enable alot of the children to have a fair go at viewing the night sky.
That is just my opinion.
