I have always thought that instead of dumping the ISS into the atmosphere to burn up, why not fit it out for space travel.
Add some shields and rockets and bingo instant Mars traveller, plenty of room etc.
What do the more engineer minded members think. It would certainly be cheaper than starting from scratch.
