Thanks guys for the encouragement, big scopes are great it's mounting them that will send you to the crazy house. Lost count of the alterations and rebuilds, pulled the mount down into a hundred bits yesterday and cut it up with the angle grinder today.
Maybe something better will form from the scrap pile
