Just like the last time, I guess I should steer my students away from physics as there is obviously no need for further research let alone asking the question "have we got it wrong"?

Steven I do understand the importance of mathematics in scientific models (believe it or not chemists have been known to use it on the odd occasion
) but I also have a very healthy sceptisim towards what are essentially radical ideas some of which cannot be tested with any rigour. Show me the empirical evidence and I will become a true believer.
