it can be a good scope for photography, you just need to guide it and put it on a polar wedge, just depends on how well you want to go with it. but one thing that you wont do is get the it was alright for a bald old fat if you dont even get guiding going. so at the end of the da its upto you what you call a respectable shot my setup cost me 3.5k and its getting in my eyes reasonable shots
