Might be my monitor, but that whole area looks blown. Ran it through curves, and there is plenty of detail there, ALOT of detail actually. You probably already know this though. I'll leave it to the master. Great work mate!  |

But yes. The appearance of some images might look bright/dark depending on the variation between your laptop settings and those of the source image.
You can download the image and take it into photoshop if you want to see whether it's 'blown out' or not. Open the image and then hover your mouse over an area you suspect is overcooked. As you move your cursor, you'll get some readouts over at the right if you've got the histogram pane open.
