Went out again searching, for some flowing water / scenery to shoot. Came up trumps, but had a very pleasant surprise on the walk back.
A short nose (?) Echidna!! I had no idea your could find these guys in the small snippets, of bushland left in the Sydney suburbs. So you can imagine my surprise, when he crossed my path. He was actually pretty big.
He seemed to have a fascination with my camera bag. I think he was trying to mount it.
It was cute, until he started diggin' and covered it with dirt (Lens inside). Worth the shots though IMO.
This is the first time I have seen one close up in the wild, so I was stoked with the event.
I love his lil' diggin' feet, very cute.
