SVAA October
Just finished my Nana-nap after getting my imaging set-up working last night in some of the best dark skies I've seen. I say that I got it working, but the assistance provided and advice and help offered from Doug, John, Peter, Martin and Daniel had to be seen to be believed.
And always, ken, albeit slightly under the weather, was the consummate host, with stories, live entertainment and a friendly welcoming environment.
I haven't even attempted processing the data I captured last night, but have a wealth of new things to try, It was my image of 253 that Doug tackled to the ooohs and ahhhhs of the watching crowd! To be honest my jaw dropped when I saw his final product with my data, I simply had no idea that the data was even there, oh that learning curve gets steeper and steeper.
All in all, given a couple of average weather days, I've had more fun and laughs in the last few days, and learnt more, than in the last year, Thanks all, yes, including you Jen!
Bring on March!
